CMP have provided Mediation training to APFO since 2004. We continue our delivery of mediation training in 2010 which includes the Dispute Resolution Skills unit 1 course, and the Mediation Certificate Upgrade course.

CMP provided the nationally accredited Certificate in Mediation Skills training to Avon Fire and Rescue in 2004. CMP has also carried out a successful team facilitation for the fire service.

CMP has enjoyed an ongoing working relationship with this Fire Service through provision of our Professional Dispute Resolution Services.

CMP were requested to provide the same package of training to CFOA as we do to APFO. Our delivery of mediation training continues in 2010 with the Dispute Resolution Skills unit 1 course, and the Mediation Certificate Upgrade course.

CMP delivered the Contact Officer (Harassment Advisor) training in 2009 for the Brigade’s in-house advice and support service. The Fire Brigade returned to CMP to support the growth of their service following successful Contact Officer training in 2003.

CMP assisted the Fire Service to set up an in-house mediation service in 2003 with the Certificate in Mediation Skills training programme. We have since trained a further 8 internal mediators and provided Mediation Refresher Skills training to maintain the service standards. We also provide escalation support with our professional resolution services.

CMP have enjoyed a successful ongoing working relationship with Hampshire FRS since 2002 to deliver groundbreaking training opportunities and support escalation cases with our professional resolution services. Training includes Promoting Diversity; Managing Employee Relations; Conflict Management Skills; and Managing Difficult People. We have also supported the successful implementation of HFRS’ successful in-house mediation service through the Certificate in Mediation Skills training. Our relationship continues in 2010 with a further run of the Certificate course to increase the internal mediator pool. Our case study focuses on our provision of Dispute Resolution Skills training as part of the Services management competencies training.
