CMP trains the UK’s largest ever cohort of workplace mediators
Under our sole provider contract with the MOD, now in its fourth year, we have trained more workplace mediators for a single employer than in the history of workplace mediation.
Over 350 Military personnel, from the Navy, the Army and the RAF, have completed our accredited Certificate in Mediation Skills, enabling their staff across the board to access the benefits of early and appropriate dispute resolution.
Managing Director Katherine Graham says, ’When we bid for the tender we were confident we could deliver training that met the specific needs of the Military, as we had already set up in house services in a wide range of clients. But the sheer volume of work they have entrusted us with is testiment to our ability to scale up our operations, and to make mediation relevant to all sectors, no matter how complex. I am very impressed by the way the Military has engaged with mediation and is using it to manage bullying and harassment allegations as well as lower level disputes. There is much to learn from how these highly disciplined services have successfully introduced mediation.’
