Katherine is a highly respected workplace conflict resolution professional. As our former Managing Director, she developed the business into the successful and high-profile organisation that it is today. As Chair and owner, Katherine will ensure that CMP's values and commitment to taking a top-quality people-centred approach remain at the forefront of CMP. After taking an English Degree at the University of Birmingham she worked in publishing for many years, starting out reading the slush pile at Bloodaxe Books and ending up as Head of Publishing at the RNID. When not working on CMP, Katherine can be found with a garden fork and pruning shears in the garden of her country home, when she is not watching Breaking Bad or re-reading Patrick O’Brien’s Master and Commander series.
After a successful career in fast-moving consumer goods with Coca-Cola, Greene King & Cobra Beer, Arran founded a new e-commerce business model in supply chain and took it through from concept to sale. Following that he has been consulting and helping SMEs to realise their potential. These experiences mean he has trodden the path of business ownership and has made or seen others make and learn from the mistakes that come with entrepreneurial problem solving, innovation and delivery. Arran loves helping others achieve their ambitions, and with his empathetic approach he supports them when things seem a little tough. Last year Arran ran the London Marathon in aid of Sense for deaf and blind people.
