People with a workplace conflict might feel confused about whether they are being bullied or harassed, and what their options are. Many employers set up a confidential Harassment Advisor or Grievance Resolution service to help their employees..

For organisations which would rather outsource this support, we have an independent harassment advice service.We understand that people’s behaviour under pressure can decline and we understand the impact, and complex issues, that arise when someone feels bullied or harassed.

Independent Harassment Advice Service

When you receive an informal complaint from an employee who is unsure what they want to do next, our Harassment Advice service can help by giving them access to a confidential specialist service. We listen to their complaint in confidence and then support them in deciding what the best way forward is for them. For example we take them through what happens in formal processes and informal processes and what this might look like for them.

They are guided through your organisation’s processes and procedures so that all options are clearly understood. We help them to make an informed decision about the course of action most likely to meet their needs in the most effective and least damaging way.

Your staff are encouraged to opt for informal methods such as mediation in the first instance, containing formal investigations for where they are most needed.

Workplace Bullying and Harassment Focus Groups

CMP runs specialist focus groups looking at perceptions of workplace bullying and harassment in your workplace and have done this for several Government agencies. We produce a comprehensive report capturing hard and soft evidence of perceptions and experiences; and recommendations for ways forward. This can be a constructive, positive experience that rebuilds engagement for staff with their employer. We work in line with the HSE and can include any metrics from your HSE survey into our report.
