Support and CPD for investigators
We provide a range of support and continuing professional development for people responsible for investigating bullying and harassment allegations, and all grievance and disciplinary matters.
Investigators can now be quality assured with our E-Learning Report Writing course, which refreshes and updates their skills and then assesses their competence through an assessed report writing exercise.
If you are faced with a complex complaint, or are taking on your first case, we can provide a professional and experienced CMP investigator to buddy or mentor your investigator. This might involve helping them with preparing interview questions, reviewing the evidence, and talking through the findings; or it might include carrying out the interviews alongside the investigator.
You can also have our investigators on hand to support you with telephone and email coaching and advice when you need it. Everyone who is trained by CMP has 12 months of free ‘just in time’ support included as added value.
Investigators who were trained some time ago can refresh and update their skills with our continuing professional development training for investigators. These programmes can either operate as refresher training, or to focus on specific areas such as Working with Union Reps; Investigating C-Level Complaints; and Report Writing for Investigators.
