Interpersonal Conflict Mentoring

When an individual has been identified as significantly contributing to negative workplace conflict, the follow up on skills that are learned via training courses is notoriously low; and it is usually the responsibility of an individual to pick up on skills they need during conflict situations, rather than tailoring learning to meet their current needs. The interpersonal conflict mentoring approach allows for a structured tailored individual response to a party’s direct needs, while also responding to the requirements of the employing organisation.

This professional, independent service is ideal where an organisation has identified someone as lacking specific competencies and can invest a specific amount of time to build those competencies. Our mentors are conflict management experts who are able to provide guidance and advice within an empathetic and non-judgemental relationship. We support your managers and/or employees in building up a specific skills set to know what is required to build and maintain constructive working relationships, and how to manage conflict when it arises.

Our expert practitioner use active listening, encouraging and questioning, motivational and directional feedback, empathy and challenge to support your employees in building positive workplace relationships.
