Accredited Training

Setting up your internal Harassment Advisor service with accredited training

Workplace conflict is often characterised by issues of social identity, equality and diversity. Many organisations (click here for case studies) have found that establishing Harassment Advisors (Grievance Resolvers, or Contact Officers) within their staff group has played a significant part in reducing formal complaints.  Our accredited Harassment Advisor training is second to none. It will enable your volunteers to provide a confidential, listening service which supports colleagues experiencing harassment or bullying, so that they are guided and advised in deciding what action to take. Harassment Advisors help their colleagues in confidence to identify the best option for them, always working within your organisational procedures.

Our accredited Harassment Advisor training includes foundation-level mediation skills, so that your advisors can encourage parties to opt for informal methods where appropriate. This means that while serious complaints continue to be dealt with through formal processes, where ever possible the less damaging and costly option of informal resolution is selected.

This training is available as a standalone option or as part of our Embedding Bullying and Harassment Solutions© pathway.
